Cider Pressing at Thompson’s Mills

Saturday October 28 11am-3pm

Halloween Cider at Thompson’s Mills

The Thompson’s Mills Preservation Society is hosting their last cider pressing of the season this Saturday, October 28 at Thompson’s Mills State Heritage Site. Everyone is invited to help crush and press the apples.  Free samples and half-gallon jugs available to purchase. TMPS Board member Don Lyon says,  “we have plenty of cider apples from the Mill’s orchard so we no longer have the one-gallon limit, but come early and lend a hand to get as much cider as you want.”  The pressing is from 11-3pm but the park is open from 9 until 4 for tours and picnicking.
