A Thompson’s Mills Preservation Society event Cider at Thompson’s Mills

 

October 14 from 11-3pm—help make and enjoy the best cider you’ve ever tasted. Free and fun for the whole family!

 

Thompson’s Mills State Heritage Site is open dawn to dusk, pack a picnic, take a tour of Oregon’s only surviving water powered mill and help make some cider. Free tasting, half gallons for $5 donation. Got apples to donate?  Bring ‘em along (no windfalls, please—health regs). Two miles east of Shedd at 32655 Boston Mill Road. tel: 541-491-3611.
